Kymberly Akouris, PhD

Dr. Kymberly Akouris, PhD is a transformational coach, nonprofit leader, and entrepreneur dedicated to helping individuals and communities reclaim agency, resilience, and well-being. She is the Founder and Executive Director of BEKIND Coaching Org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering evidence-based coaching rooted in Basic Psychological Needs Theory and Transformative Learning.

Dr. Akouris is the creator of the BEKIND Method, a structured group coaching model built around the principles of Boundaries, Empathy, Knowledge, Innovative Investigation, Negotiation, and Dissemination. Her work focuses on providing accessible, non-clinical support to those recovering from hardship, particularly in underserved communities.

In her private practice, Esteemed Coaching & Consulting, she works with small businesses, nonprofits, and conscious entrepreneurs, offering coaching, digital marketing strategy, and leadership development with a focus on purpose and sustainability.

Dr. Akouris holds a Ph.D. in Human Development with a concentration in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University, along with an MBA in Leadership and Marketing, and an M.A. in Human Development. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation and a certified practitioner of Comprehensive Evidence-Based Coaching.
